Get to Know Kim:
1. Born and raised? I was born in Carroll, Iowa and grew up in Ames, Iowa until 1st grade. Then I lived in Story City Iowa until I graduated.
2. Favorite sports team? Iowa Hawkeyes
3. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? A Nurse
4. Any siblings: Two older brothers
5. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Somewhere sunny and warm all year round. Florida or Arizona.
6. Favorite food: Pizza, hamburgers, and ice cream
7. Favorite quote/motto: Treat others as you want to be treated
8. Favorite musician or band? I have so many favorites it is tough to decide. Whitney Houston, Russell Dickerson, and Blake Shelton.
9. Passions: Staying fit and healthy so I can live life to the fullest
10. What do you like to do in your free time? I love spending time with my husband, family, and friends, boating and hanging out at the lake, visiting our kids in South Carolina and Colorado. I really enjoy long walks and working out.
11. Have you ever met anyone famous, story to tell? Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton. They were shooting the movie Twister and came in where I worked at the time.
12. Idols/those you looked up (or look up) to? My Mom and my Aunt Connie
13. Favorite place to travel? Cancun, Nashville, and The Lake of the Ozarks
14. What’s on your bucket list? Parasailing, trip to Hawaii, hot yoga, and skydiving
15. What are you most afraid of? Snakes
16. Proudest accomplishments: Raising two children, getting them through college, and helping them learn how to live on their own.
17. What’s something that would surprise people about you? I love to roller skate
18. Favorite movie: Pitch Perfect
19. Hobbies? Watching college basketball and NFL
20. Favorite tv show: Fire Country and Reba
21. If you could have dinner with 2 people who would it be? My two children
22. How would your closest friends describe you? Positive, always in a good mood, and fun
23. What game show do you think you could win? Family Feud
24. Sweet or savory? Sweet
25. What’s your secret talent? Maybe not really a talent but I love to dance and learn new line dances
