1. Born and raised? Dubuque, Iowa
2. Favorite sports team? Chicago Cubs
3. Undergraduate and major? B.A. in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa and an A.A.S in Accounting from Des Moines Area Community College
4. Favorite book? The First Law trilogy by Joe Abercrombie
5. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? I remember telling my kindergarten teacher that I wanted to be an eagle when I grew up, but they said that wasn’t possible, so instead, I chose firefighter
6. Any siblings? I have two older sisters and a younger brother
7. Activities or clubs you were in growing up: Baseball, basketball, football, tennis, track, cross country, and Business Professionals of America
8. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Norway
9. Favorite food? Any breakfast foods

11. Favorite musician or band? Glass Animals
12. Passions? Traveling and learning new things
13. What do you like to do in your free time? Hiking trails, reading, going to the gym, and watching spooky movies
14. Any pets? I don't have any pets right now, but I do have a small business taking care of cats and dogs for people in Des Moines when they're out of town - it's a great way to get some pet time in
15. Proudest accomplishments: Completing my first powerlifting competition a couple of years ago with my brother in Montana
16. Favorite place to travel? The mountains in Wyoming and Montana
17. Favorite tv show? Better Call Saul
18. What's something that would surprise people about you? I have a beer named after me at SingleSpeed Brewing (Jeremy and the Giant Peach)
19. What are you most afraid of? Finding a nest of spiders in unexpected spots
20. What's on your bucket list? Spend time in Alaska and go dog sledding
21. Favorite Movie: Godzilla Minus One
22. If you could have dinner with 2 people who would it be? George RR Martin and Jane Goodall
23. Idols/those you looked up (or look up) to? David Attenborough for his passion for exploring and talking about the natural world
24. Sweet or savory? I love having a balance of both
25. Have you ever met anyone famous, story to tell? I got to meet Bernie Sanders at a rally. After the rally, he walked around to people, shaking their hands. As he got to me, someone came up to talk with him, causing Bernie and me to hold hands for almost a minute while he finished his conversation.
