Leadership Forums

Paragon facilitates a pair of leadership peer groups, the IT Leadership Forum and the Emerging Leader program, which are comprised of technology professionals in central Iowa. These members-only groups meet monthly and offer an opportunity to hear from subject matter experts on leadership, management, communication and various technology topics.

The meetings are formatted to provide its members a forum to discuss leadership and technology ideas or issues. Membership is for one year and each program begins in January.

IT Leadership Forum Charity Open

With an alumni base of more than 130 members, the Forum has become an active member of the local tech community by staging the IT Leadership Forum Charity Open. This annual golf tournament raises money for a college scholarship fund. Iowa high school seniors who will major in a technology-related discipline at an Iowa college or university are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship. Nine were awarded in the tournament’s first year and that number will double due to the success of tournament in its second year. It is all made by possible by the sponsors (23 companies) and players who support the Forum and the tournament.
